The difference between a boiler and a furnace is, from a plumbers point of
view, any system that uses water or steam to deliver heat to a home is
called a boiler.
Any system that blows warm air to heat a home is a furnace.
With one exception, a hydro air system has a hot water boiler that heats a coil inside an air handler, that blows warm air.
